On Saturday the festival offers plenty of opportunities for community participation to help all ages share their own creativity inspired by the music of The Beatles - art, music, fashion and more!

In 2026, FabFest Daytime is once again FREE to make it possible for more families of all backgrounds to come enjoy and participate in this unique community festival together!

Daytime attendees who register in advance at Eventbrite will be entered into the door prize raffle pulled throughout the day from the Come Together Stage - register FREE here.

What's new at FabFest Daytime this year?

A first-ever 60s Fashion & Costume Contest will award $500 in cash prizes to youth and adult winners!

Piedmont Music Therapy will be onsite from 10am-12pm for inclusive music-making to help guests explore Beatles music with various percussion instruments and manipulatives. Good for all ages and abilities.

Come make something pretty with your hands while listening to the bands! Sally Stokes and friends from Play More Charlotte will have bead craft for adults from 1:00-3:30pm with new beads sourced especially for FabFest!

Arts+ will be out on Strawberry Field all day helping festival attendees of all ages and abilities record lip-synced Beatles music videos to Beatles songs!

FabFest is Presented by CG Financial Services with support from Corning, the City of Charlotte and a Community Connector Grant from Arts and Science Council.

Meet the 2026 FabFest Authors

ROBERT RODRIGUEZ is an award-winning author and podcaster. His books include Revolver: How The Beatles Re-Imagined Rock 'n; Roll and 2025's Ribbons of Rust: The Beatles' Recording History in Context (with Jerry Hammack). He is also the host of the long-running "Something About The Beatles" podcast, with guests ranging from Peter Jackson and Alan Parsons to Pattie Boyd and Mike McCartney.

ANTHONY ROBUSTELLI is the author of I Want to Tell You: The Definitive Guide to the Music of The Beatles 1962-63 and host of the Multitrack Meltdown podcast. A Brooklyn-based musician and producer, he owns Shady Bear Productions, has released seven albums, composed music for film projects, and played keyboard on Michael Franti & Spearheads Yell Fire!. He holds degrees in Jazz Performance and Music Education from NYU. Anthony joined us for the inaugural FabFest in 2019, and we're excited to bring him down South again!

SEAN GAILLARD is the author of The Pepper Effect: Tap into the Magic of Creativity, Collaboration, and Innovation and is currently working on his next book, Leadership Riffs, which draws leadership lessons from music, culture, collaboration, and the moments that move us. A lifelong Beatles fan who brings a spirit of curiosity and possibility to his writing, speaking, and podcasting, Sean was an engaging presenter at FabFest in 2022 and we're delighted to have him back!
